Saki Obata is an illustrator. In recent years, she has created numerous illustrations both in Japan and internationally, including artwork for the British magazine MONOCLE, promotional comics for the American website tokyobike.us, grade-level character illustrations for the Japanese language textbook Kokugo 4 Volumes 1 and 2 Kagayaki (Mitsumura Tosho Publishing), as well as various book covers. She also had a manga series published in the magazine Haha no Tomo (Fukuinkan Shoten) from 2023 to 2025.
