"Violently Happy" is the latest zine by London-based artist Daniel David Freeman, better known as DDF, which compiles silkscreen works that he has created by layering past rejected works and prints that he holds dear.
These works were presented at an exhibition held in Stockholm, Sweden in March 2025.

By dismantling and reusing old works that are no longer needed, he is able to minimize the use of materials while still producing images that are visually extremely rich in information, a creative process that is somewhat cathartic.
The painting itself questions the concept of "ownership" in the act of bootlegging as art, while at the same time satirizing the impersonality and impersonality of mechanical communication.
