The title "Industry" refers to "Khotin Industries," the creative name Dylan has used as his base for music and art production over the past decade. The album is comprised of records, cassettes, t-shirts, stickers, and unused designs from his label and his own work.
Dylan has jokingly referred to his apartment as "Industry," calling it "Khotin Industries HQ" or "Khotin Industries Shipping Department." In reality, he's always alone, folding T-shirts and packing orders in the spare space. While his family and partner sometimes help out, putting records in sleeves and labeling cassettes, it's a job he's always done alone, and one he loves.
"Industry" is a playful expression of the small, personal world he has formed while creating music and art. It is a 100% pure book that reassures us by packaging the joy and happiness of being able to share what we create at our own pace with anyone who is interested.
