"BIG POOL: Ten Moments" is a zine by Chris Harnan, an artist/illustrator originally from the UK and currently based in Sydney, Australia.
This work is a complete collection of Riso prints of all 10 works that were first shown at the solo exhibition "Tokyo Book Launch & Art Exhibition For "BIG POOL" held at gallery commune in September 2025. Created using materials such as card, spray paint, acrylic, pen, and crayon, the works are themed around the "Volcano," and succinctly yet energetically depict the moment of an eruption and the scene that unfolds afterwards. Chris Harnan is an English artist and illustrator who works and lives in Sydney, Australia. Creating works both digitally and with analog mixed media, Chris’ work attempts to simplify the world around him, and he has developed a process that rejects technical proficiency and tries to unlearn traditional ways of representing subjects.
