Join Taiwanese artist Teng Yung Han, who is participating in a group exhibition curated by Micro Service, as she creates ceramic wind chimes. Using the wind chime bodies and decorative parts provided by the artist, participants can freely combine colors and shapes to create their own unique designs. Ceramic bells, paper strips, string, decorative parts, and more are provided, allowing participants to enjoy an intuitive and playful crafting experience.

In this workshop, you can complete a wind chime in a short amount of time by skipping the process of full-scale pottery making and using pre-prepared parts.Even beginners can participate with confidence, and it is a valuable opportunity to easily experience the expression of sound and shape through simple materials.

Teng Yung Han
A Taipei-based artist, she works in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, ceramics, and installation. Her work revolves around abstract characters, weaving together elements of subculture and Taoist thought to create a poetic and sensual world. Through her work, she captures memories and fleeting emotions hidden in the flow of time, transforming them into haunting, tranquil landscapes, like a passing confession. She has exhibited her work both at home and abroad, including in Seoul, New York, Taipei, and Berlin, and continues to expand the scope of her expression through publications and collaborations with brands.

Teng Yung Han Workshop: Making ceramic wind chimes

In this workshop led by Taiwanese artist Teng Yung Han, participants will create their own ceramic wind chimes. Using artist-made bells and decorative parts, participants can freely combine colors and shapes to build their own design. Ceramic bells, strikers, paper tags, cords, and ornamental pieces will be provided for a playful and intuitive process.

Without the complexities of full ceramic production, participants can complete their chime in a short time using pre-made components. This workshop is open to beginners and offers a chance to explore sound and form through assembling different elements with simple materials.
