SHINKNOWNSUKE "Unexpected Twists and Turns"

We will be holding an exhibition called "Unexpected Twist" by SHINKNOWNSUKE, an artist who reads the trends of the times and expresses them in a free style.

The world is currently facing an unprecedented pandemic, creating uncertainty about the future. This exhibition will feature 15 new works that express the various emotions swirling within us in a uniquely positive color palette. SHINKNOWNSUKE has become an essential artist in Tokyo's cultural scene. While everyone is searching for ways to live strong lives without losing sight of themselves, he too struggled and suffered, creating these works.

This exhibition was originally scheduled to feature canvas works in June, but after some "unexpected twists and turns," it has now become an exhibition primarily featuring silkscreen, lithograph, and giclee prints. In addition to prints, merchandise will also be available for sale at the venue. We look forward to seeing you there.

2020 has been a very intense year.

SHINKNOWNSUKE
A graphic designer/artist living in Tokyo, he began working in earnest after his solo exhibition in LA in 2017. He has provided graphics for leading Tokyo select shops such as MIN-NANO, SUPPLY, and BEND, as well as domestic and international brands such as BOTT, Better, Divinities, Heads Magazine, The Good Company, and GOODHOOD.
He is also active as part of several units, including UPPERLAKE MOB with GORO (MIN-NANO), UND with FACE, and SD FAM with DOX. He is currently collaborating with NIKE to develop an apparel line, and is also planning to hold a pop-up event at a department store.
