"Haunted Marmite" is a silkscreen book by Paris-based artist Antwan Horfee.

This work includes drawings that were made in parallel with the production in his Paris studio. Each line and shape changes and intertwines to create a story, but there is no correct answer that can be easily explained.
"It's about talking about something uncertain, delicate, unusual, but also important," Horfee says.

This silkscreen book, limited to 100 copies, was inspired by the 30x40 series of "Futuropolis," making "Haunted Marmite" a special edition that allows you to feel the direct hand of the artist and artisan.
Horfee describes it as "gourmet entertainment"—pricey, unusual, and rare, but a luxury that allows you to fully savor the artist's passions.

"I love working by hand, with all the good and the slightly laborious aspects. I like leaving fingerprints on the pages, and not having plastic packaging. The tightly folded staples add character. I also like it when people realize that my friends and I cut, folded, and printed these books while listening to music. That's why I check each and every book carefully," he says.

The process of creating Haunted Marmite, from cutting the pages to stapling and printing, is all about enjoying the charm and quirks of handcrafted work. "As someone who is passionate about making books, I think it's important to continue doing everything by hand," says Horfee.
"An artist edition is an edition with no restrictions. The creator can choose any form and include any content they like. It can be traditional or completely experimental. That's what makes it interesting."
