"Brand New With Tags" - Rob Cordiner
"Brand New With Tags" is a zine that compiles works presented at "Wonder Bug," the artist and former member of Heavy Time Books, which he ran with Ed Davis and Todd Jordan, at his first solo exhibition in Japan, held at our gallery in 2023.
Rob has a unique ability to focus and not be able to do things in an orderly manner. He also has a tendency to have lucid dreams, so he is able to maintain peace of mind by organizing the fragments of dreams using the communication tool of graphic design. A fragment of text, an enigmatic number, an iconic logo, a catchy silhouette... These are fresh memories that he certainly saw among the vast amount of information he receives every day. Here is a statement about life lived in a dream-like state.

Rob Cordiner | Rob Cordiner is an artist living in Luttorwita, Tasmania, Australia. He runs "Heavy Time Books" with his friends Ed Davis and Todd Jordan, and has published a wide range of artists. He currently runs "FOUNTAIN", a platform for outputting art, design and publishing, and in addition to his work as an artist, he also works as a creative designer for the ACMI Museum in Melbourne. In his first solo exhibition in Tokyo, "Wonder Bug", he presented an ambitious series of signboard works and screen print editions.
