We are pleased to announce the Tokyo Pop-up "Amateur University of Photography" by Shanghai creative studio Same Paper. The event will focus on the summer collection of their apparel line, amateur. Also, the new photo book by founder and photographer Xiaopeng Yuan, "I,ma,ge, Backups, Nobody Knows," will be released at the same time. We hope you'll enjoy it.
About Amateur University of Photography
The "University of Amateur Photography" is an extension of the concept of the amateur photographer. We value the amateur spirit, because photography doesn't have to be a profession; it can be driven by passion.
The name "Amateur Photography University" is a bit of a joke: it's a fictional university that we hope will inspire or rekindle people's passion for photography.
