Industry is a collection of graphics both new and old from the world of musician and visual artist Dylan Khotin-Foote’s “Khotin Industries”. 

"The title Industry is a reference to “Khotin Industries,” the creative name I’ve been using as a home base for my music and artwork over the past 10 years or so. The works included in the zine are elements of something that was either released on the packaging of a record, cassette, a t-shirt, sticker, or outtakes of designs I’ve made that orbit around the label and my own practices. 

I’ve always made tongue-in-cheek references to the word industry, like calling my apartment the “Khotin Industries HQ” or the “Khotin Industries Shipping Department.” In reality, it’s always just me, folding t-shirts or packing tape orders in whatever space I can find. Sometimes a loved one or family member helps out with tasks like putting records in sleeves or sticking labels on cassettes, but it’s still very much a solo labour of love.

Industry has always been just a playful representation of the small, personal world I’ve built around making music and art, and the fun and fulfillment that comes from creating things on my own terms and sharing them with anyone out there that's interested.”
