This exhibition, titled "DAWN 2," is a sequel to DAWN, which was released in 2016. It will feature 11 new litho prints depicting moments of quiet contemplation, some alone, some with others, between late night and dawn. The new zine, "DAWN 2," will also be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there.
As night deepens and the surroundings become quiet, a vague sense of anxiety that was forgotten during the day begins to rise. You unconsciously start thinking, but eventually, as the light grows outside, you hear the birds singing, the sounds of daily life around you, and the morning sun shines, your anxiety seems to retreat somewhere. We hope that the scene of people quietly reflecting on themselves as they await the morning will remind you of a certain dawn or the thoughts you had at that time.

Illustrator/graphic designer. In recent years, she has been responsible for illustrations for junior high school ethics textbooks, the British magazine MONOCLE, and promotional comics for the American site tokyobike.us. She has also worked on numerous illustrations and designs for books, CD jackets, posters, and more both in Japan and overseas.
