Venue: Gallery Commune

We will be holding a photo exhibition to commemorate the release of New York-born photographer Colin Sussingham's new photo book, "Disappear Into Earth" (published by stacks).

In 2019, with the support of NIKE SB, Colin released the photo book "BOYS: A DECADE OF SKATEBOARDING IN NYC," capturing the New York skateboarding scene from 2008 to 2019. For his latest project, he has chosen a more personal theme: a documentary of the six road trips he took between 2014 and 2020.
Landscapes, objects, friends, thoughts, curiosity... The things recorded here are Colin's very personal records, but they also have a universality that transcends differences in time and place, and are all photographs that connect to everyone's memories. As we all reflect on our daily lives, both past and future, amid the ongoing pandemic, Colin's collection of photographs will surely evoke a variety of emotions.

At the venue, not only will the exhibited works and photo books be on sale, but photo tees featuring the photos included will also be released. We look forward to seeing you there.
